Today is Friday the 13th a day considered by some to be somewhat unlucky. Myself I believe that we make our own luck. If you follow the teachings of the great movie The Secret and other positive thinking people you understand the principle of thoughts are things. I believe this one hundred percent.

A person can have incredible good fortune and happiness simply by believing that he or she can. I for one have seen a great improvement in my life from thinking in a more positive way and believing that I will have what I need to get me where I want to be.By focusing ones thoughts on what you want in your life you can attract it to yourself.

I guess what I’m trying to say here is don’t waste your time thinking about what you don’t want, spend it thinking about what you do want and feel grateful that you are going have whatever it is you desire. Today could be a very lucky day for you, all you need to do is believe it.

The will to carry on

I have often marvelled at the huge amount of determination some people have to succeed. Be it in sport or just pursuit of success in business people will go to extraordinary lengths to achieve their goals. How do they do this? They believe they can do it, they focus on the end result and they don’t give up until they get where they want to be. I believe that success in anything we do is a state of mind in which we are focused on the end goal with unwavering faith that we can reach it. When someone achieves something great it is due to the fact that he or she had already seen the end result many times in their own mind.

Those that are having great success in Internet marketing are no different to the great sports and business people of the world. They begin at the bottom like everyone else with a goal in mind and they don’t stop trying until they get where they want to be. These people have a picture fixed firmly in their mind of what life will be like for them as they reach each milestone on their journey of learning and achievement. Sure the journey has it’s up’s and downs but by keeping focused on the minds picture of the end result we have the will to carry on.

A young journalist asked the great scientist Albert Einstien many years ago “what would it take to put a man on the moon?” the great man answered simply, the will to to do it. The young journo was quite taken aback by this answer expecting something more scientific and complex.
But what Einstien was saying is true of anything we try to do in life.
